There are nice trails right from the campground. There is no cell service at all other than while hiking on the Overlook Trail. It's a small, one loop campground with 2 nice bath houses, one with showers and dish washing sinks. Site was flat with plenty of room for tent and space around the fire, and it had woods on a hill behind it, perfect for hammocks. There are a number of nice rustic sites, ours may have been the best. We stayed in RBW campground site #46 Sept 2021. Ample parking but this place gets busy in the fall. There are also drink vending machines located at the entrance as well as bathrooms. There is also a stand selling locally sourced maple syrup and honey. Always check which trails are open before planning a visit.Īlso, there is a refreshment food truck parked near by selling ice cream and snack foods. We didn’t do Turkey Path because I heard it was closed part way down due to storm damage. Otter View is worth seeing in my opinion. The trail is dirt, somewhat rocky and steep. If you make a right and do the steep down hill first then the hike back up the other side is a more gradual incline. Do this trail counter clockwise to avoid the STEEP HIKE back up. ![]() It is a loop trail (trail map located at the entrance by the soda machine) leading to the south lookout of the canyon. ![]() The Overlook trail down to Otter View is a whole other story. Beautiful views all along the stone steps which are big enough to accommodate large groups of people. People of all fitness levels and lifestyles can easily navigate the steps trailed along the side of gorge. Which isn’t a bad thing, just the trails are heavily trafficked. People come from all over to hike and see the gorge.
